Feature 1

Three, yes three, ghosts inhabit this "Historic Hotels of America" national keepsake: The Lady in White, a Young Girl, and Alex himself. Many of the weird and ghastly experiences are notated by guests in this creepy book available near the check in counter, just in case you might want to to do some late night reading.

Natural local stone and wood bring you right back to 1927 when Alex built his "Showplace of the West as a tribute to the Black Hills and the Native Americans. The attached Starbucks wasn't available in Alex's day.

This is Alex's headdress presented to him by the Lakota Indians when they accepted him as a member of their family.

When on the rooftop patio bar, this large sign that can be seen from all over Rapid City, looms especially sinister when the skies appear foreboding. Fun stuff to have a cocktail with.

Tom, the resident DJ spins some pretty cool tunes in the romantic attic bar, be prepared to swoon.

With it's warm fireplace, soft light and easy ambiance, the lobby is a great place to hang out if the spirits in your room are way to distracting.
